Effective Date: July 12, 2026

This privacy policy applies to the Anchor app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Bethany Barrett (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a free and premium service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

1. Information Collection and Use

The Application is designed to deeply respect your privacy. By default, the Application does not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on external servers.

Local Data Storage All data created within the Application—including your customized habits, tasks, projects, and checklist histories—is stored locally on your device using Apple’s native SwiftData framework.

Calendar Integration The Application integrates with your device's native Apple Calendar via Apple's EventKit framework to display your daily schedule. Calendar event data is only read and processed locally on your device to display your schedule alongside your tasks. The Service Provider does not extract, collect, or transmit your calendar data to any remote servers. Your custom scheduling blocks are saved locally to your device's storage.

iCloud Sync (If Applicable)

If you have iCloud enabled on your device, your local data may be synced automatically across your personal Apple devices via your private Apple ID. The Service Provider does not have access to this iCloud data.

2. Third-Party Access

The Service Provider does not collect or share personally identifiable information with third parties. The Application relies exclusively on Apple's first-party frameworks.

3. Opt-Out Rights and Data Deletion

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes available as part of your mobile device. Uninstalling the Application will completely wipe your local app data, as it is only stored on your device.

4. Children

The Application is not used to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided personal data, please contact the Service Provider so that the necessary actions can be taken.

5. Security

The Service Provider is highly concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Application relies entirely on Apple’s iOS platform security, device-level data encryption, and application sandboxing environments to protect your on-device data.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
